1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Streamo platform ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", "our") — a SaaS e-commerce platform providing tools for order management, live selling, social commerce, and shipping logistics.
The Platform is operated by OceanWeb Technologies s.r.o., registered at Jána Hollého 738/99, 071 01 Michalovce, Slovak Republic (the "Operator").
By creating an account and using the Platform, you ("Seller", "you", "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Definitions
- Platform — the Streamo web application and all related services
- Seller — a business entity or individual conducting business activity that uses the Platform
- Customer — a person who purchases products from the Seller using tools provided by the Platform
- Account — the Seller's registered account on the Platform
- Subscription — a paid plan granting access to Platform features
- Server — the Seller's isolated environment within the Platform
3. Account Registration
To use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter agreements
- Conduct legitimate business activity
- Provide accurate registration information (email, company name, contact details)
- Integrate a Facebook Page for social commerce features
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
You may request deletion of your Account at any time by contacting us at info@streamo.io. Account deletion will be processed within 14 days and will result in loss of access to all data and services associated with the Account. After deletion, we will retain data only to the extent and for the period required by applicable law.
4. Description of Services
Streamo provides the following services:
- Order Management — create, track, and fulfil orders with configurable statuses
- Product Management — multi-language product catalogue with variants, pricing, and stock tracking
- Live Selling — Facebook Live integration for real-time comment-based sales
- Messenger Integration — customer communication and order processing via Facebook Messenger
- Shipping & Logistics — integration with carriers (Packeta, Slovak Post, DPD, GLS, SPS, DHL)
- Invoicing — automated invoice generation with multi-language and multi-currency support
- Payments — integration with payment gateways (Stripe, GoPay, PayPal, Besteron, bank transfer, cash on delivery)
- Analytics — revenue tracking, order statistics, and performance reports
- E-shop Checkout — self-service checkout with secure payment processing
Feature availability depends on the Seller's subscription plan.
5. Subscription Plans
Streamo offers the following plans:
- Pro — complete solution for selling via social media: Facebook and Instagram sales, your own e-shop, unlimited orders, bulk Messenger campaigns, automatic orders from comments and messages, live streams, AI assistant in Messenger, standard support.
- Business — everything in Pro plus a lower transaction fee, unlimited products and categories, multi-language and multi-currency support, newsletter and email campaigns, detailed analytics, priority support.
Both plans combine a recurring subscription fee (charged on the chosen interval — monthly, semi-annual, or annual) with a per-transaction fee on each completed order. The Seller can choose in the Platform settings who pays this fee:
- Customer — the transaction fee is added to the order at checkout as a buyer surcharge.
- Seller — the Seller absorbs the transaction fee from their own funds; the fee is not shown to the Customer in the order.

We reserve the right to modify plans, features, and pricing with 30 days' advance notice.
6. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with access to Platform features. A paid subscription is required to continue using the Services after the trial period. No payment information is required to start a trial.
7. Payments & Billing
- All paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
- Subscription intervals: monthly, semi-annual, or annual.
- Both Pro and Business plans include a per-transaction fee in addition to the recurring subscription. The Seller can choose in the Platform settings who pays this fee — the Customer (added to the order as a buyer surcharge) or the Seller (absorbed from own funds, not shown in the order). The default setting and the option to change it are available in Account settings.
- Per-transaction fees are collected from the Seller on a monthly cadence, regardless of the subscription interval chosen (monthly, semi-annual, or annual). This means a Seller on the annual plan still receives a separate monthly invoice covering the transaction fees accumulated in the prior month.
- All prices are displayed excluding VAT unless otherwise stated.
- If a recurring payment authorization fails, we will attempt the charge at least three additional times over the following days. We will notify you by email after each failed attempt. Repeated failure may result in suspension of Services.
You may update your payment method at any time through the Platform.
8. Cancellation & Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Platform
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
- After cancellation, you retain access until the end of the paid period
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation before deletion
9. Seller Obligations
As a Seller, you agree to:
- Use the Platform only for lawful business purposes
- Comply with all applicable laws, including consumer protection, data protection, and tax regulations
- Provide accurate product information, pricing, and descriptions
- Fulfil orders and handle customer complaints in accordance with applicable law
- Not use the Platform for prohibited products or illegal activities
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Platform
- Not interfere with the Platform's security or functionality
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information
In particular, the Seller is obliged to comply with applicable EU and national legislation, including:
- Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (distance contracts, right of withdrawal, information obligations)
- Directive 2005/29/EC concerning unfair business-to-consumer commercial practices
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) on the protection of personal data
- Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety
Content published through the Platform must not contain illegal, discriminatory, defamatory, or vulgar content, content promoting counterfeit or prohibited products, or content violating the intellectual property rights of third parties.
Without limiting the foregoing, the Seller specifically agrees not to upload, publish or otherwise disseminate through the Platform any content that:
- constitutes child sexual abuse material or sexually exploits minors in any form;
- promotes, glorifies or facilitates terrorism, violent extremism or organised crime;
- promotes hatred, discrimination or violence against any individual or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristic;
- offers counterfeit, pirated or otherwise infringing goods;
- offers controlled substances, illegal weapons, or other items prohibited by applicable law;
- constitutes spam, malware, phishing or other malicious code.
Violation of these provisions may result in immediate removal of content and termination of the Account in accordance with Section 15.
10. Intellectual Property
- Streamo and all related trademarks, logos, and content are our intellectual property
- You retain ownership of your content (product images, descriptions, etc.)
- By using the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and process your content as necessary to provide the Services
- You may not use Streamo's branding without our prior written consent
Access to the Platform is granted under a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence for the duration of the active Subscription. The Seller may not sublicence, rent, lease, or otherwise make the Platform available to third parties. The source code of the Platform is not subject to the licence.
Text and data mining (TDM): The Platform and its content (including text, graphics, source data, screenshots, instructional materials and aggregated statistics) may not be subjected to automated text and data mining, scraping, or used as training data for machine-learning or artificial-intelligence systems without our prior written consent. We expressly reserve the rights granted under Article 4(3) of EU Directive 2019/790 (DSM Directive).
Image and likeness consent: By uploading or otherwise submitting any Content that depicts identifiable individuals, the Seller represents and warrants that they have obtained all necessary consents, releases and rights from those individuals (and, where applicable, the holders of their image and likeness rights) for the depiction, distribution and use of those images through the Platform. The Seller indemnifies and holds the Operator harmless against any third-party claims arising from a breach of this warranty.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
- We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Slovak law
- As a data processor, we process Customer data on behalf of the Seller (the data controller) solely for providing the Services
- Detailed information about data processing is available in our Privacy Policy
- We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect data
- In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected parties in accordance with GDPR requirements
12. Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates with third-party services including Facebook, payment gateways, and shipping carriers. These integrations are subject to the respective third parties' terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.
13. Service Availability
- We strive to maintain high availability of the Platform.
- Scheduled maintenance will be performed with advance notice.
- We are not liable for temporary unavailability due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform.
Where reasonably possible, we schedule planned maintenance windows for the hours between 22:00 and 06:00 Central European Time (CET / CEST) to minimise impact on Sellers' business operations. Emergency maintenance may occur outside this window when required to preserve Platform security or stability.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- We are not liable for loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities
- We are not a party to sales agreements between Sellers and Customers and bear no liability for product quality, delivery, or customer disputes
- We are not liable for damages resulting from your failure to comply with these Terms or applicable law
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to: natural disasters, fires, floods, wars, strikes, government actions, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, or pandemics.
15. Termination by the Operator
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these Terms.
- Your payment is overdue for more than 30 days.
- We are required to do so by law or regulation.
- We discontinue the Platform (with 90 days' advance notice).
- The Account has been inactive for 6 consecutive months (no successful login and no order processed via the Platform). Before terminating an inactive Account, we will send a reactivation notice to the registered email address and provide at least 30 days to log in.
In cases of serious violations (fraud, illegal activity, security threats), we may suspend access immediately without prior notice.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Slovak Republic. Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct communication.
18. Final Provisions
- If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
- Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Streamo regarding use of the Platform
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior consent
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to a third party (e.g. in connection with a merger or acquisition), provided this does not negatively affect your rights
- All notifications regarding the Platform or these Terms will be sent to the email address associated with your Account
Complaint procedure: If you have a complaint regarding the Platform or Services, contact us at info@streamo.io with a description of the issue, the circumstances, and your contact details. We will acknowledge receipt and resolve complaints within 14 days of receiving them. If additional information is required, the resolution period may be extended accordingly.
